Due to huge popularity during the past two years and for safety reasons we are forced to limit the number of participants to this year’s Wood tour. The participants will be drawn in several lotteries before the festival and the rest of the places will be secured for early arrivals. Come and sign up at Ivana Helsinki store at Hotel Rantapuisto on Friday 3pm onwards to secure your place! Please follow announcements in Superwood instagram & facebook for the lottery dates!


Public transportation

There is the Metro connection from Helsinki center to the Rastila metro station, from where connection by bus toward Ramsinniemi leaves approximately every ten to fifteen minutes (bus no. 560). Exit stop Ramsinniementie (4557) is at the intersection of Meri-Rastilantie and Ramsinniementie roads, from where one walks approximately 600 m along Ramsinniementie road to Hotel Rantapuisto. In addition, during weekdays (Mon-Fri), service line 816 runs from Vuosaari metro station to Rantapuisto starting at 07:03 and ending 18:03. The first shift from hotel to metro station departs at 6:49 and last shift of the service line returns to the metro station in the afternoon at 18:19. Three departures on Saturdays.

PSST… There’s also a wood trail route from the metro station to Hotel Rantapuisto, just follow the signs and glowing lights along the route marked in the map below:


Route by private car

From Itäkeskus center, drive Meripellontie road toward Vuosaari. Immediately after Vuosaari bridge, take the right-hand side ramp up and turn right onto Meri-Rastilantie road. Continue along Meri-Rastilantie road for approximately 800 m, after which make another right turn onto Ramsinniementie road. Continue on Ramsinniementie road for another 600 m, when you’ll see a sign on your left toward “Hotel Rantapuisto.”

Bicycle Parking

There is some space for bicycles by the main entrance.

Hotel Rooms

The festival events take place around the entire Hotel Rantapuisto area. For this reason we cannot guarantee a complete silence in all the rooms during night time. If you however wish to have a more quiet room, please contact and we will help you the best we can!

Age limit

The age limit at the Superwood Festival is 18. You must be prepared to prove your age with a valid ID card or passport. It is not possible for a minor to attend the festival, not even with an adult.

Tickets, wristbands and wristband exchange

All tickets will be exchanged for a wristband. Festival guests can enter and exit the festival area.

You can get your wristband at the entrance to the festival at Hotel Rantapuisto.

You can also exchange the wristband in advance at Ivana Helsinki Gallery Store.

Can I pick up a wristband for another person?

The wristband will be applied and tightened on the ticket holder’s wrist upon pick up. Therefore, the wristband cannot be picked up by anyone else but the ticket holder personally.

Can I share a wristband with another person?

The wristband is personal and it cannot be shared with anyone else, it must be worn during the whole time it is valid. An unattached wristband is not valid for entrance.

The artist I wanted to see cancelled their performance, Can I Get a ticket refund?

Unfortunately artist cancellation does not qualify for ticket refund. The Superwood Festival reserves the right to changes in the schedule.


Superwood takes place in a special environment at Hotel Rantapuisto and its’ surrounding forests. Dress accordingly. Please consider that Superwood is not responsible for any injuries that happen at the festival site.


First aid is located at the reception.

Prohibited items

The entire hotel area is alcohol licensed and you can purchase a wide selection of beverages in several bars around the area. Please see the map for bar locations. Due to this, it is prohibited to bring your own alcoholic beverages to the festival area. This also applies to the overnight guests.

Due to safety reasons and a pleasant festival experience, please leave home the following items:
– Alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic drinks
– Pets or other animals
– Umbrellas
– Professional photography gear (tripods, cameras with removable objectives, etc.)
– Selfie sticks, GoPro sticks and other camera sticks
– Deposit bottles
– Weapons of any kind, firearms, drugs/narcotics, alcohol and any other illegal items
– Aerosol sprays (hairsprays, deodorants, paints etc.) (If you have a VIP ticket and are staying overnight, you are welcome to bring personal hygiene items such as hairspray to the room of course)
– Any portable chairs

Please do bring a rain coat/rain poncho, rubber boots, warm clothes and your own flashlight! If you participate in the running workshop on Saturday, please do bring your own running shoes & other gear.

Cloakroom / Lost & Found

The cloakroom is located by the entrance. Cloakroom fee is 5€

The cloakroom can be visited during the festival, and because of the special nature of the festival with indoor and outdoor performances, ONE visit at the cloakroom is included free of charge. We kindly remind you that before any outdoor performances the cloakroom might be busy.
The Lost and Found items are stored in the cloakroom, and you can ask for or leave lost/found items at the cloakroom. After the festival weekend you can ask for lost property from Ivana Helsinki flagship store, +358 50 505 1624, shophelsinki(at)

Payment methods

You can use cash, debit cards, credit cards and Visa Electron on site. Card payment is preferred by most of the boutiques on site, but do bring some cash with you just in case! There are no cash machines located on site.

Photography and videotaping

It is allowed to take photographs for personal use at the Superwood Festival. It is however not allowed to use professional gear, tripods, selfie sticks, Go-Pro sticks or any sort of camera sticks.
Please remember to respect your fellow festival goers and performers when taking photos. Please do not use flash on Woodtour, to respect the intended mood of each performer.

Indoors in the festival area guests may use Hotel Rantapuisto Wi-Fi.


It is not allowed to smoke in any of the indoor areas or venues. It is allowed to smoke in the outdoor spaces at the hotel, where you can also find ash trays. Please use your own consideration and do not leave cigarette butts, especially still burning, in the forest areas.
